Born in Callao, Peru and raised just outside of Pittsburgh PA, Dr. Cardoza attended the Pennsylvania State University where he received a bachelor’s of the arts degree in applied psychology and business administration. He then went on to attend Chatham University to receive his Doctorate in Physical therapy.
Professionally Andres has strong interests in orthopedics and sports medicine. He has completed his ITPT certification in order to become a better equipped sports medicine provider as well as his CEAS to help serve the industrial athlete. He has been the director of a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic since 2014 where he has grown an aquatics program designed to promote lifelong health and wellness to all patients and the community at large.
Professionally, Andres has a strong interest in Worker’s Compensation and Industrial Rehabilitation. He has completed training to become a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist as well as a Certifying Doctor with the Texas Department of Insurance – Division of Worker’s Compensation. He serves as the director of 2 busy outpatient clinics as well as the Worker’s Compensation Coordinator for the entire Mission Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine system.
Personally, Andres has enjoyed living in the San Antonio area for over 10 years with his wife, daughter and 3 dogs. He is an avid sports fan of all Pittsburgh teams. He enjoys personal fitness training, motorsports and traveling.
